Buckinghamshire Traded Services

Service Description

Last updated:

Support Packages will run from 1st April 2022 to 31st March 2023 (12 months)

The Schools Library Service has pride in our core values to deliver an excellent service to schools in and outside of Buckinghamshire

Customer Care – In keeping with Council wide customer service principles our staff provide professional, friendly and practical support on all aspects of Library and information resource provision.

Bespoke service and flexible options – We will tailor the supply of books to support your curriculum choices and offer alternative options to buy in to suit your budget.

Alternative and wider stock – We can provide artefact loans to add a new dimension to children’s learning.

With the slimming down of the National Curriculum and the increasing autonomy of schools in curriculum matters, schools will need access to a much wider range of materials. Without a

Schools Library Service subscription, they will struggle to gather enough resources to cover all subjects they want to teach.

Buckinghamshire Schools Library Service offers a comprehensive and flexible resource and advisory service to all phases of education, from nursery to post 16.
