Support Packages will run from 1st April 2023 to 31st March 2024 (12 months)

The Schools Library Service has pride in our core values to deliver an excellent service to schools in and outside of Buckinghamshire.

Customer Care – In keeping with Council-wide customer service principles our staff provides professional, friendly, and practical support on all aspects of Library and information resource provision.

Bespoke service and flexible options – We will tailor the supply of books to support your curriculum choices and offer alternative options to buy to suit your budget.

Excellent training – Our staff will be available to visit to provide their wealth of knowledge, share information, and skills and support you with utilising new library management systems on-site.

Alternative and wider stock – We can provide first-hand resources to support children’s learning. Our artifact loans will add a new dimension to children’s learning.

With the slimming down of the National Curriculum and the increasing autonomy of schools in curriculum matters, schools will need access to a much wider range of materials. A Schools Library Service subscription will enable schools to access additional resources to support the breadth of subjects they need to teach.

Buckinghamshire Schools Library Service offers a comprehensive and flexible resource and advisory service to all phases of education, from nursery to post 16.
