Keeping Children Safe in Education and the Preventative Curriculum (PHSE)
PSHE provides a safe space where pupils can raise issues and concerns and explore the complexities of the world around them.
It teaches pupils the knowledge and skills to live healthy and successful lives and contributes to keeping pupils safe by giving them the knowledge and skills to recognise abusive relationships, and poor health choices and be able to seek help when needed.
This course will cover Ofsted expectations, good questions for governors to ask and signpost useful documents and details of the statutory provision of RSE and PSHE in the curriculum and the role of the PSHE / RSHE governor.
